Photoshovel
Plug in your camera card. Your photos are organised in your library in seconds.
Stop making new folders and dragging files around by hand. Photoshovel detects camera cards, copies files to your library in the folder structure you specify, verifies everything with checksums, and cleans up the card — all while you get on with editing.

What it does
Camera card detection
Automatically detects when you insert an SD, CFast, CFexpress, or CF card and identifies it as a camera card.
Smart file grouping
Groups JPEG, RAW, and sidecar files by shot so related files always stay together through every step.
Metadata-driven organisation
Copies files into folders based on date, camera model, lens, or any EXIF data using configurable path templates.
Efficiently make many copies
Add as many copy pipelines as you like, with different naming conventions and path templates, filter RAW vs JPEG, and more. Keep those backup copies organised too!
Bit-perfect checksum verification
Every copied file is verified against a cryptographic checksum before the source is touched. No silent corruption of good files.
Easy configuration
Simple, intuitive configuration with a user-friendly interface. You get total control, with safe and sensible defaults for most workflows.
Safe card cleanup
Optionally deletes verified files from the card with a confirmation step. Never deletes without proof of a good copy and confirmation.
Runs in the background
Lives in your system tray. Insert a card and walk away — you'll get a notification when it's done.
Efficient and fast
Don't clog your machine up. Less than 2MB memory footprint, written in Rust for reliability, stability, and performance.
